Control

These terms and conditions apply to all work carried out by translatorus.com for its customers.

All translation requests must be accompanied by an order including the price established by the parties. This order must be sent to us via the website, post, e-mail or fax; we reserve the right to refuse to start an assignment without the order having been paid.

Technical documents must be accompanied by reference documents supplied by the customer and/or drawings or diagrams to facilitate understanding of these documents.

The cost of a translation is calculated on the basis of a number of words or pages in the source language, unless otherwise agreed in writing in advance.

translatorus.com is not responsible for translations that are stylistically unsatisfactory. In particular for advertising and promotional material, translatorus.com's services are limited to simple translation, unless expressly requested. translatorus.com is not responsible for the editing of the translated text, e.g. in an advertising style that differs from the source text. Our liability is limited exclusively to the translation of the source text.

Complaints will only be considered if they are received by email within seven days of delivery of the work(s) or part of the work(s). All complaints must be accompanied by the original documents, the disputed translations and an explanatory e-mail. After this deadline, the translation will be considered correct.

translatorus.com cannot be held responsible for delays caused by malfunctions of faxes, modems, e-mails and/or other couriers or carriers not directly controlled by translatorus.com.

In the event of late delivery, where the delay is more than one third of the scheduled delivery time, and if the delay is directly and exclusively attributable to translatorus.com, a refund will be made, to be agreed between the parties, of up to 100 % of the work delivered late.

Defects in any part of the translation may not, for any reason whatsoever, call into question the entire translation. In such cases, translatorus.com reserves the right to make changes to the translation.

Only written agreements between the parties will be taken into consideration. The court of Paris is competent for all disputes.

Directory and Registrations

Anyone with the professional skills to translate or interpret from one language to another can register free of charge with the Directory. Once registered, an account will be provided to the user. translatorus.com reserves the right to temporarily suspend or permanently delete any profile suspected of fraud, identity theft or any other cause for suspicion.

translatorus.com will not be held responsible for any disputes between the customer and the registered translator with whom the customer is in contact for services or other purposes. Anyone who registers as a translator on our list will be responsible for the means of payment, delivery of services etc. that they offer to their customers. translatorus.com cannot be held responsible for any disputes between the customer/visitor and the registered translator. translatorus.com has the right to remove anyone from the list of translators for reasons of suspicion or complaints against the registrant.

By accepting these Terms and Conditions, the person who subscribes to our translator list agrees to publicly display the necessary information about him/her to allow visitors/customers to contact him/her, namely: Photo, Phone number/mobile phone number, e-mail address, area of residence, skills, description and other information needed to establish contact with the customer. As this information is made public for commercial purposes, translatorus.com will not be held responsible for its protection and will be considered as professional information of the registered persons.

Liability

Translatorus.com and/or its associated suppliers disclaim all warranties and conditions with regard to the services offered, including all implied warranties and conditions of fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement of third party rights. translatorus.com and/or its associated suppliers shall not be liable, for any reason whatsoever, for any special, indirect or consequential damages or any damages whatsoever resulting from loss of use rights, loss of information or loss of profits, whether arising in contract, negligence or other tortuous actions arising out of or in any way connected with the services of translatorus.com.
